"Every piece is made by hand for you personally. Please read this page before placing an order."
Almost all items in the shop are made to order. This means your piece does not exist yet — I will make it specifically for you after your order is placed. Please allow 2–3 weeks for production before your order is shipped. Pieces that are available as ready-made stock will state this clearly in the product description.
Custom orders (bespoke commissions, breastmilk jewellery, ash memorial pieces, and personalised designs) have longer lead times, discussed individually at the time of enquiry.
I ship worldwide from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Depending on your location and the item, I use PostNL or DHL standard shipping, both with Track & Trace. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched.
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. Once a parcel has been dispatched I cannot change the delivery address — responsibility for providing the correct address lies with the buyer.
For orders outside the European Union, import taxes, customs duties, or VAT may apply on arrival in your country. These charges are set by your local customs authority and are entirely outside my control. I am not responsible for any such costs. Please check your country's import regulations before ordering — I am unable to mark packages as gifts or understate their value on customs declarations.
Under EU consumer law (Richtlijn 2011/83/EU, implemented in Dutch law as the herroepingsrecht), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, please contact me at info@studiodarkuv.com within 14 days of receiving your order. After I confirm your return, please send the item back within 21 days of receipt. Return shipping costs are at the buyer's expense.
Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received — unworn, undamaged, and in their original packaging. If an item is returned in a worse condition than it was sent, the buyer is responsible for any reduction in value.
Under Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are clearly personalised or made to the consumer's specifications. The following orders therefore cannot be returned or cancelled once production has begun:
If you are unsure whether your order qualifies as custom, please ask before placing it.
You may cancel a standard (non-custom) order within 1 working day of placing it, provided production has not yet begun. Please contact me immediately at info@studiodarkuv.com if you need to cancel. Once I have begun making your piece, cancellation is no longer possible for custom orders. For standard orders already completed or dispatched, the standard return procedure applies.
If your order arrives damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with a photograph of the damage or error. I will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
